2 Kings 22:16-17

16Thus says the Lord, Behold, I will bring disaster upon this place and upon its inhabitants, all the words of the book that the king of Judah has read. 17 aBecause they have forsaken me and have made offerings to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the work of their hands, therefore bmy wrath will be kindled against this place, and it will not be quenched.

2 Kings 23:26-27

26Still the Lord did not turn from the burning of his great wrath, by which his anger was kindled against Judah, cbecause of all the provocations with which Manasseh had provoked him. 27And the Lord said, “I will remove Judah also out of my sight, das I have removed Israel, and I will cast off this city that I have chosen, Jerusalem, eand the house of which I said, My name shall be there.”

Ezekiel 12:25

25For I am the Lord; I will speak fthe word that I will speak, and it will be performed. gIt will no longer be delayed, but in your days, hO rebellious house, I will speak the word and perform it, declares the Lord God.”

Zephaniah 3:8

8 Therefore iwait for me,” declares the Lord,
“for the day when I rise up to seize the prey.
For my decision is jto gather nations,
to assemble kingdoms,
to pour out upon them my indignation,
all my burning anger;
for in the fire of my jealousy
kall the earth shall be consumed.

Matthew 24:35

35 lHeaven and earth will pass away, but mmy words will not pass away.

2 Peter 3:4-10

4 nThey will say, “Where is the promise of ohis coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth pwas formed out of water and through water qby the word of God, 6and that by means of these the world that then existed rwas deluged with water and sperished. 7But by the same word tthe heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and udestruction of the ungodly.

8But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and va thousand years as one day. 9 wThe Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise xas some count slowness, but yis patient toward you,
