2 Kings 22:16-17

16Thus says the Lord, Behold, I will bring disaster upon this place and upon its inhabitants, all the words of the book that the king of Judah has read. 17 aBecause they have forsaken me and have made offerings to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the work of their hands, therefore bmy wrath will be kindled against this place, and it will not be quenched.

2 Chronicles 36:21

21to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had cenjoyed its Sabbaths. All the days that it lay desolate dit kept Sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.

Isaiah 6:11

11Then I said, e“How long, O Lord?”
And he said:
Until fcities lie waste
without inhabitant,
and houses without people,
and the land is a desolate waste,

Jeremiah 6:8-9

8Be warned, O Jerusalem,
glest I turn from you in disgust,
lest I make you ha desolation,
an uninhabited land.”
9 Thus says the Lord of hosts:
i“They shall glean thoroughly as a vine
the remnant of Israel;
like a grape gatherer pass your hand again
over its branches.”

Jeremiah 24:8-10

8But thus says the Lord: Like jthe bad figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten, so will I treat kZedekiah the king of Judah, his officials, the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who ldwell in the land of Egypt. 9I will make them ma horror

to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be oa reproach, pa byword, qa taunt, and ra curse in all the places where I shall drive them.
10And I will send ssword, famine, and pestilence upon them, until they shall be utterly destroyed from the land that I gave to them and their fathers.”

Jeremiah 34:22

22Behold, tI will command, declares the Lord, and will ubring them back to this city. vAnd they will fight against it and take it and burn it with fire. wI will make the cities of Judah a desolation xwithout inhabitant.”

Jeremiah 36:29

29And concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah you shall say, ‘Thus says the Lord, You have burned this scroll, saying, yWhy have you written in it that the king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land, and will cut off from it man and beast?”
