2 Kings 22:19-20

19 abecause your heart was penitent, and you bhumbled yourself before the Lord, when you heard how I spoke against this place and against its inhabitants, that they should become ca desolation and da curse, and you ehave torn your clothes and wept before me, I also have heard you, declares the Lord. 20Therefore, behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and fyou shall be gathered to your grave in peace, and your eyes shall not see all the disaster that I will bring upon this place.’” And they brought back word to the king.

Ezekiel 9:4

4And the Lord said to him, “Pass through the city, through Jerusalem, and pput a mark on the foreheads of the men who qsigh and groan over all the abominations that are committed in it.”

Ezekiel 9:6

6 rKill old men outright, young men and maidens, little children and women, but stouch no one on whom is the mark. And tbegin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were before the house.

Habakkuk 3:16

my lips quiver at the sound;

to come upon people who invade us.
