2 Kings 24:1

1 aIn his days, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant for three years. Then he turned and rebelled against him.

2 Kings 24:20

20For because of the anger of the Lord it came to the point in Jerusalem and Judah that he cast them out from his presence.

bAnd Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

Jeremiah 2:10-11

10For cross to the coasts of cCyprus and see,
or send to dKedar and examine with care;
see if there has been such a thing.
11 eHas a nation changed its gods,
feven though they are no gods?
But my people ghave changed their glory
for hthat which does not profit.

Romans 1:32
