1 bIn the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, cthat the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so dthat he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and also put it in writing:

2Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and ehe has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

Jeremiah 29:10

10For thus says the Lord: fWhen seventy years are completed for Babylon, gI will visit you, hand I will fulfill to you my promise iand bring you back to this place.

Daniel 9:2

2in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, perceived in the books the number of years that, according to jthe word of the Lord to Jeremiah the prophet, must pass before the end of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, seventy years.
