2 Kings 24:2-4

2And the Lord sent against him bands of the aChaldeans and bbands of the Syrians and bands of the Moabites and bands of the Ammonites, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, caccording to the word of the Lord that he spoke by his servants the prophets. 3Surely this came upon Judah at the command of the Lord, to remove them out of his sight, dfor the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, 4and also efor the innocent blood that he had shed. For he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the Lord would not pardon.

Jeremiah 6:4-6

arise, and let us attack mat noon!

for the shadows of evening lengthen!
5Arise, and let us attack by night
and destroy her palaces!”
6 For thus says the Lord of hosts:
n“Cut down her trees;
ocast up a siege mound against Jerusalem.
This is the city that must be ppunished;
there is nothing but oppression within her.

Jeremiah 25:9

9 qbehold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, declares the Lord, and for Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, rmy servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations. I will devote them to destruction, sand make them a horror, a hissing, and an everlasting desolation.
