2 Kings 24:7

7 ^aAnd the king of Egypt did not come again out of his land, ^bfor the king of Babylon had taken all that belonged to the king of Egypt ^cfrom the Brook of Egypt to the river Euphrates.

Jeremiah 37:5-8

5 ^dThe army of Pharaoh had come out of Egypt. And when ^ethe Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard news about them, ^fthey withdrew from Jerusalem.

6 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet: 7 “Thus says the Lord, God of Israel: Thus shall you say to the king of Judah who ^gsent you to me to inquire of me, ‘Behold, ^hPharaoh’s army that came to help you is about to ⁱreturn to Egypt, to its own land. 8 And ^jthe Chaldeans shall come back and fight against this city. ^kThey shall capture it and burn it with fire.
