2 Kings 25:18-21

18 aAnd the captain of the guard took bSeraiah the chief priest and cZephaniah the second priest and the three keepers of the threshold; 19and from the city he took an officer who had been in command of the men of war, and dfive men of the king’s council who were found in the city; and the secretary of the commander of the army, who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land, who were found in the city. 20And Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them and brought them to the king of Babylon at eRiblah. 21And the king of Babylon struck them down and put them to death at fRiblah in the land of Hamath. gSo Judah was taken into exile out of its land.

Jeremiah 34:3-5

3 hYou shall not escape from his hand but shall surely be captured and delivered into his hand. iYou shall see the king of Babylon eye to eye and speak with him face to face. And you shall go to Babylon.’ 4Yet hear the word of the Lord, O Zedekiah king of Judah! jThus says the Lord concerning you: k‘You shall not die by the sword. 5You shall die in peace. lAnd as spices were burned for your fathers, the former kings who were before you, so people shall mburn spices for you nand lament for you, saying, “Alas, lord!”’ For I have spoken the word, declares the Lord.”

Jeremiah 39:6

6The king of Babylon oslaughtered the sons of Zedekiah at pRiblah before his eyes, and the king of Babylon qslaughtered all the nobles of Judah.

Jeremiah 52:10

10The king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and also slaughtered all the officials of Judah at rRiblah.

The People Exiled to Babylon

Ezekiel 17:16
