2 Kings 25:25

25 aBut in the seventh month, bIshmael the son of Nethaniah, son of Elishama, of the royal family, came with ten men and struck down Gedaliah and put him to death along with the Jews and the Chaldeans who were with him at Mizpah.

Isaiah 30:16-17

16and you said,
No! We will flee upon chorses”;
therefore you shall flee away;
and, “We will ride upon swift steeds”;
therefore your pursuers shall be swift.
17 dA thousand shall flee at the threat of one;
at the threat of five you shall flee,
till you are left
like a flagstaff on the top of a mountain,
like a signal on a hill.

Isaiah 51:12-13

12 “I, I am he ewho comforts you;
who are you that you are afraid of fman who dies,
of the son of man who is made glike grass,
13and have forgotten the Lord, your Maker,
hwho stretched out the heavens
and ilaid the foundations of the earth,
and you fear continually all the day
because of the wrath of jthe oppressor,
when he sets himself to destroy?
And where is the wrath of kthe oppressor?

Isaiah 57:11

11 lWhom did you dread and fear,
mso that you lied,
and did not remember me,
did not lay it to heart?
nHave I not held my peace, even for a long time,
and you do not fear me?

Jeremiah 42:11

11 oDo not fear the king of Babylon, pof whom you are afraid. qDo not fear him, declares the Lord, rfor I am with you, to save you and to deliver you from his hand.

Jeremiah 42:16

16then the sword sthat you fear shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine of which you are afraid shall follow close after you to Egypt, tand there you shall die.

Jeremiah 43:2-3

2Azariah the son of uHoshaiah and vJohanan the son of Kareah and wall the insolent men said to Jeremiah, “You are telling a lie. The Lord our God did not send you to say, x‘Do not go to Egypt to live there,’ 3but yBaruch the son of Neriah zhas set you against us, aato deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they may kill us or take us into exile in Babylon.”
