And when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, at ^aaRiblah, in the land of Hamath; ^aband he passed sentence on him. 6 The king of Babylon ^acslaughtered the sons of Zedekiah at ^adRiblah before his eyes, and the king of Babylon ^aeslaughtered all the nobles of Judah. 7 ^afHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains to take him to Babylon. 8 ^agThe Chaldeans burned the king’s house and the house of the people, ^ahand broke down the walls of Jerusalem. 9 Then ^aiNebuzaradan, the ^ajcaptain of the guard, carried into exile to Babylon the rest of the people who were left in the city, ^akthose who had deserted to him, and the people who remained.

And they went in the direction of the Arabah. 8 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him. 9 Then they captured the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him. 10 The king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and also slaughtered all the officials of Judah at ^amRiblah. 11 ^anHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in chains, and the king of Babylon took him to Babylon, and put him in prison ^aotill the day of his death.
