2 Kings 25:4-7

4Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, by athe king’s garden, and bthe Chaldeans were around the city. And they went in the direction of the cArabah. 5But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him. 6Then they captured the king dand brought him up to the king of Babylon at eRiblah, and they passed sentence on him. 7They slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, fand put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains and took him to Babylon.

Jeremiah 21:4-7

4Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: gBehold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands and with which you are fighting against the king of Babylon and against the Chaldeans who are besieging you outside the walls. hAnd I will bring them together into the midst of this city. 5I myself will fight against you iwith outstretched hand and strong arm, jin anger and in fury and in great wrath. 6And I will strike down the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast. They shall die of a great pestilence. 7Afterward, declares the Lord, kI will give Zedekiah king of Judah and his servants and the people in this city who survive the pestilence, sword, and famine into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and into the hand of their enemies, into the hand of those who seek their lives. He shall strike them down with the edge of the sword. lHe shall not pity them or spare them or have compassion.’

Jeremiah 24:8-10

8But thus says the Lord: Like mthe bad figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten, so will I treat nZedekiah the king of Judah, his officials, the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who odwell in the land of Egypt. 9I will make them pa horror

10And I will send vsword, famine, and pestilence upon them, until they shall be utterly destroyed from the land that I gave to them and their fathers.”

Jeremiah 29:4-7

4Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, to all the exiles whom I have sent into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: 5 wBuild houses and live in them; plant gardens and eat their produce. 6Take wives and have sons and daughters; take wives for your sons, and give your daughters in marriage, that they may bear sons and daughters; multiply there, and do not decrease. 7But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and xpray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.

Jeremiah 52:7-11

And they went in the direction of the Arabah. 8But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him. 9Then they captured the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him. 10The king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and also slaughtered all the officials of Judah at yRiblah. 11 zHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in chains, and the king of Babylon took him to Babylon, and put him in prison aatill the day of his death.
