Jehoiachin Released from Prison

27 cAnd in the thirty-seventh year of dthe exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, graciously efreed
Hebrew  reign, lifted up the head of
Jehoiachin king of Judah from prison.

Jeremiah 13:18

18 Say to gthe king and hthe queen mother:
“Take a lowly seat,
for iyour beautiful crown
has come down from your head.”

Jeremiah 39:6-7

6The king of Babylon jslaughtered the sons of Zedekiah at kRiblah before his eyes, and the king of Babylon lslaughtered all the nobles of Judah. 7 mHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains to take him to Babylon.

Jeremiah 52:9-11

9Then they captured the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him. 10The king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and also slaughtered all the officials of Judah at nRiblah. 11 oHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in chains, and the king of Babylon took him to Babylon, and put him in prison ptill the day of his death.

Jeremiah 52:31-34

Jehoiachin Released from Prison

31 qAnd in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth day of the month, Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, graciously freed
Hebrew  king, lifted up the head of
sJehoiachin king of Judah and brought him out of prison.
32And he spoke kindly to him and gave him a seat above the seats of tthe kings who were with him in Babylon. 33So Jehoiachin put off his prison garments. And every day of his life he dined regularly at the king’s table, 34and for his allowance, a regular allowance was given him by the king, according to his daily needs, until the day of his death, as long as he lived.

Ezekiel 12:12-13

12 uAnd the prince who is among them shall lift his baggage upon his shoulder at dusk, and shall go out. vThey shall dig through the wall to bring him out through it. wHe shall cover his face, that he may not see the land with his eyes. 13 xAnd I will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare. And yI will bring him to Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, zyet he shall not see it, and he shall die there.

Ezekiel 16:12

12And I put a ring on your nose and earrings in your ears and a beautiful crown on your head.
