6 Then they captured the king ^aand brought him up to the king of Babylon at ^bRiblah, and they passed sentence on him. 7 They slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, ^cand put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains and took him to Babylon.

Jeremiah 34:4

4 Yet hear the word of the Lord, O Zedekiah king of Judah! ^dThus says the Lord concerning you: ^e‘You shall not die by the sword.

Ezekiel 12:13

13 ^fAnd I will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare. And ^gI will bring him to Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, ^hyet he shall not see it, and he shall die there.
