Isaiah 30:30

Jeremiah 24:8-10

Ezekiel 20:47-48

47Say to the forest of the Negeb, Hear the word of the Lord: Thus says the Lord God, Behold, pI will kindle a fire in you, and it shall devour every qgreen tree in you and every rdry tree. The blazing flame shall not be quenched, and sall faces from south to north shall be scorched by it. 48 tAll flesh shall see that I the Lord have kindled it; it shall not be quenched.”

Ezekiel 24:9-14

9Therefore thus says the Lord God: Woe to the bloody city! uI also will make the pile great. 10Heap on the logs, kindle the fire, boil the meat well, mix in the spices,

11Then set it empty upon the coals, that it may become hot, and its copper may burn, wthat its uncleanness may be melted in it, its corrosion consumed. 12 xShe has wearied herself with toil;
The meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain
its abundant corrosion does not go out of it. Into the fire with its corrosion!
13On account of your unclean lewdness, because I would have cleansed you and you were not cleansed from your uncleanness, zyou shall not be cleansed anymore till aaI have satisfied my fury upon you. 14 abI am the Lord. I have spoken; it shall come to pass; I will do it. I will not go back; acI will not spare; adI will not relent; aeaccording to your ways and your deeds you will be judged, declares the Lord God.”
