Judgment on the Whole Earth

as with the maid, so with her mistress;
gas with the buyer, so with the seller;

3 iThe earth shall be utterly empty and utterly plundered;
jfor the Lord has spoken this word.

Isaiah 24:10

10 kThe wasted city is broken down;
levery house is shut up so that none can enter.

Isaiah 24:12

12Desolation is left in the city;
the gates are battered into ruins.

Isaiah 25:2

2For you have made the city ma heap,
the fortified city a ruin;
the foreignerspalace is a city no more;
it will never be rebuilt.

Isaiah 27:10

10 nFor the fortified city is solitary,
a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness;
there the calf grazes;
there it lies down and strips its branches.

Luke 21:20

Jesus Foretells Destruction of Jerusalem

20But owhen you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that pits desolation has come near.

Luke 21:24

24They will fall by the edge of the sword and qbe led captive among all nations, and rJerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, suntil the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
