Elisha Purifies the Deadly Stew

38And Elisha came again to aGilgal when bthere was a famine in the land. And as cthe sons of the prophets dwere sitting before him, he said to his servant, eSet on the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.” 39One of them went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine and gathered from it his lap full of wild gourds, and came and cut them up into the pot of stew, not knowing what they were.

Amos 7:14

14Then Amos answered and said to Amaziah, fI was
Or am; twice in this verse
no prophet, nor a prophet’s son, but hI was a herdsman and a dresser of sycamore figs.

Luke 15:16

16And he iwas longing to be fed with the pods that the pigs ate, and no one gave him anything.
