2 Kings 5:25-26

25He went in and stood before his master, and Elisha said to him, “Where have you been, Gehazi?” And he said, “Your servant went nowhere.” 26But he said to him, “Did not my heart go when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Was it a time to accept money and garments, olive orchards and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male servants and female servants?

John 12:5-6

5Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii
A  denarius was a day’s wage for a laborer
and bgiven to the poor?”
6He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and chaving charge of the moneybag he used to help himself to what was put into it.

Acts 5:1-2

Ananias and Sapphira

1But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property, 2and with his wife’s knowledge dhe kept back for himself some of the proceeds and brought only a part of it and elaid it at the apostlesfeet.

Hebrews 4:13
