From now on, let those who have wives live as though they had none, 30and those who mourn as though they were not mourning, and those who rejoice as though they were not rejoicing, and those who buy ias though they had no goods, 31and those who deal with the world as though they had no dealings with it. For jthe present form of this world is passing away.

32I want you to be kfree from anxieties. lThe unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord.

1 Timothy 6:6-9

6But mgodliness nwith contentment is great gain, 7for owe brought nothing into the world, and

8But qif we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. 9But rthose who desire to be rich fall into temptation, sinto a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that tplunge people into ruin and destruction.

Hebrews 13:5

5Keep your life ufree from love of money, and vbe content with what you have, for he has said, w“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
