Elisha Promises Food

1 But Elisha said, “Hear the word of the Lord: thus says the Lord, ^aTomorrow about this time a seah ^{▼▼A seah was about 7 quarts or 7.3 liters} of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, ^{▼▼A shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams} and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.”

2 Kings 7:16

16 Then the people went out and plundered the camp of the Syrians. So a seah of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, ^daccording to the word of the Lord.
