For remember , when you and I rode side by side behind Ahab his father , how the Lord made this pronouncement against him:

25 Jehu said to Bidkar ^ahis aide, “Take him up and throw him ^bon the plot of ground belonging to Naboth the Jezreelite. For remember, when you and I rode side by side behind Ahab his father, how ^cthe Lord made this ^dpronouncement against him: 26 ‘As surely as I saw yesterday the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons—declares the Lord—I will repay you on this plot of ground.’ Now therefore take him up and throw him on the plot of ground, in accordance with the word of the Lord.”

27 ^eWhen Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled in the direction of Beth-haggan. And Jehu pursued him and said, “Shoot him also.” And they shot him ^{▼▼Syriac, Vulgate (compare Septuagint); Hebrew lacks and they shot him} in the chariot at the ascent of Gur, which is by ^gIbleam. And he fled to ^hMegiddo and died there. 28 ⁱHis servants carried him in a chariot to Jerusalem, and buried him in his tomb with his fathers in the city of David.

2 Kings 10:26

26 and they brought out the ^jpillar that was in ^kthe house of Baal and burned it.

2 Kings 18:4

4 ^lHe removed the high places and broke the ^mpillars and cut down ⁿthe Asherah. And he broke in pieces ^othe bronze serpent that Moses had made, for until those days the people of Israel had made offerings to it (it was called Nehushtan). ^{▼▼ Nehushtan sounds like the Hebrew for both bronze and serpent}

2 Kings 23:4-6

4 And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest and the priests ^qof the second order and the keepers of the threshold to bring out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels made for ^rBaal, for ^sAsherah, and for all the host of heaven. ^tHe burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron and carried their ashes to Bethel. 5 And he deposed the priests whom the kings of Judah had ordained to make offerings in the high places at the cities of Judah and around Jerusalem; those also who burned incense to Baal, to the sun and the moon and the constellations ^uand all the host of the heavens. 6 And he brought out ^vthe Asherah from the house of the Lord, outside Jerusalem, to the brook Kidron, ^wand burned it at the brook Kidron ^xand beat it to dust and cast the dust of it upon the graves ^yof the common people.

2 Kings 23:10

10 And he defiled ^zTopheth, which is ^aain the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, ^abthat no one might burn his son or his daughter as an offering to ^acMolech. ^{▼▼Hebrew might cause his son or daughter to pass through the fire for Molech}

2 Kings 23:14

14 And he broke in pieces the ^aepillars and cut down the Asherim and filled their places with the bones of men.

2 Chronicles 23:17

17 Then all the people went to the house of Baal and tore it down; his altars and his images they broke in pieces, ^afand they killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.

2 Chronicles 34:4

4 And they chopped down the altars of the Baals in his presence, and he cut down the ^agincense altars that stood above them. And he broke in pieces the ^ahAsherim and the carved and the metal images, and he made dust of them and ^aiscattered it over the graves of those who had sacrificed to them.

2 Chronicles 34:7

7 he broke down the altars and beat the ^ajAsherim and the images ^akinto powder and cut down all the incense altars throughout all the land of Israel. Then he returned to Jerusalem.
