17 And David ^alamented with this lamentation over Saul and Jonathan his son,

25 ^bJeremiah also uttered a lament for Josiah; and all ^cthe singing men and singing women have spoken of Josiah in their laments to this day. They made these a rule in Israel; behold, they are written in the Laments.

Jeremiah 9:10

10 “I will take up weeping and wailing for the mountains,
