2 Samuel 1:9-10

9And he said to me, aStand beside me and kill me, for anguish has seized me, and yet my life still lingers.’ 10So I stood beside him and killed him, because I was sure that he could not live after he had fallen. bAnd I took the crown that was on his head and the armlet that was on his arm, and I have brought them here to my lord.”

2 Samuel 17:23

23When Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his donkey and went off home to chis own city. He dset his house in order and ehanged himself, and he died and was buried in the tomb of his father.

Acts 16:27

27When the jailer woke and saw that the prison doors were open, he drew his sword and kwas about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped.
