My Help and My Deliverer

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.

1 I awaited patiently for the Lord;
he inclined to me and bheard my cry.
2He drew me up from cthe pit of destruction,
out of dthe miry bog,
and eset my feet upon a rock,
fmaking my steps secure.
3He put ga new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our God.
Many will hsee and fear,
and put their trust in the Lord.

aaDo the departed rise up to praise you?  Selah
11Is your steadfast love declared in the grave,

12Are your abwonders known in acthe darkness,
or your righteousness in the land of adforgetfulness?
13 But I, O Lord, cry aeto you;
afin the morning my prayer comes before you.
14O Lord, why agdo you cast my soul away?
Why ahdo you hide your face from me?
15Afflicted and close to death from my youth up,
I suffer your terrors; I am helpless.
