2 Samuel 12:24-25

Solomon’s Birth

24 Then David comforted his wife, Bathsheba, and went in to her and lay with her, and ^ashe bore a son, and he called his name ^bSolomon. And the Lord loved him 25 and sent a message by Nathan the prophet. So he called his name Jedidiah, ^{▼▼ Jedidiah means beloved of the Lord} because of the Lord.

1 Kings 2:12

12 ^dSo Solomon sat on the throne of David his father, and his kingdom was firmly established.

1 Chronicles 22:9

9 Behold, a son shall be born to you who shall be a man of rest. ^eI will give him rest from all his surrounding enemies. ^fFor his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel in his days.
