2 Samuel 12:7-12

7Nathan said to David, “You are the man! Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, a‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul. 8And I gave you your master’s house and your master’s wives into your arms and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah. And if this were too little, I would add to you as much more. 9 bWhy have you despised the word of the Lord, cto do what is evil in his sight? dYou have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and ehave taken his wife to be your wife and have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites. 10Now therefore the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.’ 11Thus says the Lord, ‘Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house. And I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun. 12For you did it secretly, fbut I will do this thing before all Israel and before the sun.’”

1 Kings 21:19-24

19And you shall say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Have you killed and also taken possession?”’ And you shall say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord: g“In the place where dogs licked up the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick your own blood.”’”

20Ahab said to Elijah, h“Have you found me, O my enemy?” He answered, “I have found you, because iyou have sold yourself to do what is evil in the sight of the Lord. 21Behold, I will bring disaster upon you. I will utterly burn you up, and jwill cut off from Ahab every male, bond or free, in Israel. 22And I will make your house like kthe house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like lthe house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the anger to which you have provoked me, and because you mhave made Israel to sin. 23And of Jezebel the Lord also said, n‘The dogs shall eat Jezebel within othe walls of Jezreel.’ 24 pAnyone belonging to Ahab who dies in the city the dogs shall eat, and anyone of his who dies in the open country the birds of the heavens shall eat.”

Psalms 50:21

21These things you have done, and I qhave been silent;

Jeremiah 2:33-35

33 How well you direct your course
to seek love!
So that even to wicked women
you have taught your ways.
34Also on your skirts is found
uthe lifeblood of the guiltless poor;
you did not find them vbreaking in.
Yet in spite of all these things
35you say, ‘I am innocent;
surely his anger has turned from me.’
wBehold, I will bring you to judgment
for xsaying, ‘I have not sinned.’

Mark 6:18
