2 Samuel 12:9-12

9 aWhy have you despised the word of the Lord, bto do what is evil in his sight? cYou have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and dhave taken his wife to be your wife and have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites. 10Now therefore the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.’ 11Thus says the Lord, ‘Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house. And I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun. 12For you did it secretly, ebut I will do this thing before all Israel and before the sun.’”

2 Samuel 13:28

28Then Absalom commanded his servants, “Mark when Amnon’s fheart is merry with wine, and when I say to you, ‘Strike Amnon,’ then kill him. Do not fear; have I not commanded you? Be courageous and be valiant.”

2 Samuel 20:9-10

9And Joab said to Amasa, “Is it well with you, my brother?” And Joab took Amasa by the beard with his right hand gto kiss him. 10But Amasa did not observe the sword that was in Joab’s hand. hSo Joab struck him with it iin the stomach and spilled his entrails to the ground without striking a second blow, and he died.

Then Joab and Abishai his brother pursued Sheba the son of Bichri.
