Shimei Curses David

5When King David came to fBahurim, there came out a man of the family of the house of Saul, whose name was gShimei, the son of Gera, and as he came hhe cursed continually. 6And he threw stones at David and at all the servants of King David, and all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left. 7And Shimei said as he icursed, “Get out, get out, you man of blood, you worthless man! 8The Lord jhas avenged on you all kthe blood of the house of Saul, in whose place you have reigned, and the Lord has given the kingdom into the hand of your son Absalom. See, your evil is on you, for you are a man of blood.”

9Then Abishai the son of Zeruiah said to the king, “Why should this ldead dog mcurse my lord the king? Let me go over and take off his head.”

15And ten young men, Joab’s armor-bearers, surrounded Absalom and struck him and killed him.

The Rebellion of Sheba

1Now there happened to be there pa worthless man, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjaminite. And he blew the trumpet and said,

and we have no inheritance in the son of Jesse;
revery man to his tents, O Israel!”

2 Samuel 20:22

22Then the woman went to all the people sin her wisdom. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri and threw it out to Joab. So he blew the trumpet, and they dispersed from the city, tevery man to his home. And Joab returned to Jerusalem to the king.

1 Kings 2:24-25

24Now therefore uas the Lord lives, who has established me and placed me on the throne of David my father, and who has made me a house, vas he promised, Adonijah shall be put to death today.” 25So King Solomon sent wBenaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he struck him down, and he died.

1 Kings 2:31

31The king replied to him, xDo as he has said, strike him down and bury him, yand thus take away from me and from my father’s house the guilt for the blood that Joab shed without cause.

1 Kings 2:46

46Then the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he went out and struck him down, and he died.

zSo the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon.

Matthew 21:41

41They said to him, aa“He will put those wretches to a miserable death and ablet out the vineyard to other tenants who will give him the fruits in their seasons.”
