2 Samuel 15:31

31 And it was told David, “Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom.” And David said, “O Lord, please ^aturn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.”

2 Samuel 15:34

34 But if you return to the city and say to Absalom, ^b‘I will be your servant, O king; as I have been your father’s servant in time past, so now I will be your servant,’ then you will defeat for me the counsel of Ahithophel.

2 Samuel 17:23

23 When Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his donkey and went off home to ^chis own city. He ^dset his house in order and ^ehanged himself, and he died and was buried in the tomb of his father.

Esther 6:4-11

Let them dress the man whom the king delights to honor, and let them lead him on the horse through the square of the city, ^mproclaiming before him: ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor.’” 10 Then the king said to Haman, “Hurry; take the robes and the horse, as you have said, and do so to Mordecai the Jew, who sits ⁿat the king’s gate. Leave out nothing that you have mentioned.” 11 So Haman took the robes and the horse, and he dressed Mordecai and led him through the square of the city, proclaiming before him, “Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor.”

Esther 7:10

10 And the king said, “Hang him on that.” ^oSo they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. ^pThen the wrath of the king abated.
