2 Samuel 16:11-12

11And David said to Abishai and to all his servants, “Behold, amy own son seeks my life; how much more now may this Benjaminite! Leave him alone, and let him curse, for the Lord has told him to. 12It may be that the Lord will look on the wrong done to me,
Septuagint, Vulgate  will look upon my affliction
and that the Lord will repay me with good for his cursing today.”

Psalms 34:18

18The Lord is near to cthe brokenhearted
and saves dthe crushed in spirit.

Psalms 69:20-29

20 eReproaches have broken my heart,
so that I am in fdespair.
I glooked for hpity, but there was none,
and for icomforters, but I found none.
21They gave me jpoison for food,
and for my thirst they gave me ksour wine to drink.
22 lLet their own mtable before them become a snare;
nand when they are at peace, let it become a trap.
Hebrew; a slight revocalization yields (compare Septuagint, Syriac, Jerome)  a snare, and retribution and a trap

23 pLet their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see,
qand make their loins tremble continually.
24Pour out your indignation upon them,
and let your burning anger overtake them.
25 rMay their camp be a desolation;
let no one dwell in their tents.
26For they spersecute him whom tyou have struck down,
and they recount the pain of uthose you have wounded.
27 vAdd to them punishment upon punishment;
may they have no acquittal from you.
Hebrew  may they not come into your righteousness

28Let them be xblotted out of the book of the living;
let them not be yenrolled among the righteous.
29 But I am afflicted and in pain;
let your salvation, O God, zset me on high!

Mark 14:34-36

34And he said to them, aaMy soul is very sorrowful, even to death. Remain here and abwatch.”
Or keep awake; also verses 37, 38
35And going a little farther, he fell on the ground adand prayed that, if it were possible, aethe hour might pass from him. 36And he said, afAbba, Father, agall things are possible for you. Remove ahthis cup from me. aiYet not what I will, but what you will.”
