2 Samuel 2:26-27

26Then Abner called to Joab, “Shall the sword devour forever? Do you not know that the end will be bitter? How long will it be before you tell your people to turn from the pursuit of their brothers?” 27And Joab said, “As God lives, if ayou had not spoken, surely the men would not have given up the pursuit of their brothers until the morning.”

Isaiah 9:20-21

20 bThey slice meat on the right, but are still hungry,
and they devour on the left, but are not satisfied;
ceach devours the flesh of his own arm,
21Manasseh devours Ephraim, and Ephraim devours Manasseh;
together they are dagainst Judah.
eFor all this his anger has not turned away,
and his hand is stretched out still.

Isaiah 11:5-9

5Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist,
and ffaithfulness the belt of his loins.

Isaiah 11:13

13 kThe jealousy of Ephraim shall depart,
and those who harass Judah shall be cut off;
Ephraim shall not be jealous of Judah,
and Judah shall not harass Ephraim.

1 Corinthians 3:3

3for you are still of the flesh. For while there is ljealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way?

6but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers? 7To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. mWhy not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? 8But you yourselves wrong and defraudeven nyour own brothers!
