1And David spoke ato the Lord the words of this song on the day when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul.

2 Corinthians 1:8-10

of pthe affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself.
9Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us qrely not on ourselves rbut on God swho raises the dead. 10 tHe delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. uOn him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.
