2 Samuel 23:16-17

16Then the three mighty men broke through the camp of the Philistines and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate and carried and brought it to David. But he would not drink of it. He poured it out to the Lord 17and said, “Far be it from me, O Lord, that I should do this. Shall I drink athe blood of the men who went at the risk of their lives?” Therefore he would not drink it. These things the three mighty men did.

Psalms 55:3-11

3because of the noise of the enemy,
because of the oppression of the wicked.
For they ddrop trouble upon me,
and in anger they bear a grudge against me.
4 My heart is in anguish within me;
ethe terrors of death have fallen upon me.
5Fear and trembling come upon me,
and fhorror goverwhelms me.
6And I say, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove!
I would fly away and be at rest;
7 hyes, I would wander far away;
I would lodge in the wilderness;  Selah
8I would hurry to find a shelter
from ithe raging wind and tempest.”
9 Destroy, O Lord, jdivide their tongues;
for I see kviolence and strife in the city.
10Day and night they go around it
on its walls,
and liniquity and trouble are within it;
11ruin is in its midst;
moppression and fraud
do not depart from its marketplace.

nlet my right hand forget its skill!
6Let my otongue stick to the roof of my mouth,
if I do not remember you,
if I do not set Jerusalem
above my highest joy!
