1There was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. And David grew stronger and stronger, while the house of Saul became weaker and weaker.

1Then all the tribes of Israel acame to David at Hebron and said, “Behold, bwe are your bone and flesh.

2 Samuel 18:6-8

6So the army went out into the field against Israel, and the battle was fought in the cforest of Ephraim. 7And the men of Israel were defeated there by the servants of David, and the loss there was great on that day, twenty thousand men. 8The battle spread over the face of all the country, and the forest devoured more people that day than the sword.

The Rebellion of Sheba

1Now there happened to be there ha worthless man, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjaminite. And he blew the trumpet and said,

i“We have no portion in David,
and we have no inheritance in the son of Jesse;
jevery man to his tents, O Israel!”
2So all the men of Israel withdrew from David and followed Sheba the son of Bichri. But the men of Judah followed their king steadfastly from the Jordan to Jerusalem.

2 Samuel 20:22

22Then the woman went to all the people kin her wisdom. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri and threw it out to Joab. So he blew the trumpet, and they dispersed from the city, levery man to his home. And Joab returned to Jerusalem to the king.

Or  nations noisily assemble

2The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together,

and cast away their cords from us.”
4 He who rsits in the heavens slaughs;
the Lord holds them in derision.
5Then he will speak to them in his twrath,
and terrify them in his fury, saying,
6“As for me, I have uset my King
on vZion, my wholy hill.”
