2 Samuel 3:24-25

24 Then Joab went to the king and said, “What have you done? Behold, Abner came to you. Why is it that you have sent him away, so that he is gone? 25 You know that Abner the son of Ner came to deceive you and to know ^ayour going out and your coming in, and to know all that you are doing.”

2 Samuel 3:39

39 And I was gentle today, though anointed king. ^bThese men, the sons of Zeruiah, are more severe than I. ^cThe Lord repay the evildoer according to his wickedness!”

Ecclesiastes 10:5-7

5 There is an evil that I have seen under the sun, as it were ^dan error proceeding from the ruler: 6 ^efolly is set in many high places, and the rich sit in a low place. 7 ^fI have seen slaves ^gon horses, and princes walking on the ground like slaves.

Isaiah 3:5
