2 Samuel 6:14-19

14And David adanced before the Lord with all his might. And David was bwearing a linen ephod. 15So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the horn.

16As the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, and she despised him in her heart. 17And they brought in the ark of the Lord and set it cin its place, inside the tent that David had pitched for it. dAnd David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord. 18And when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, ehe blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts 19and distributed among all the people, the whole multitude of Israel, both men and women, a cake of bread, a portion of meat,

1 Chronicles 29:20

20Then David said to all the assembly, hBless the Lord your God.” And all the assembly blessed the Lord, the God of their fathers, iand bowed their heads and paid homage to the Lord and to the king.

1 Chronicles 29:22

22And they ate and drank before the Lord on that day with great gladness.

And they made Solomon the son of David king jthe second time, and they kanointed him as prince for the Lord, and lZadok as priest.

The Dedication of the Temple

4 nThen the king and all the people offered sacrifice before the Lord. 5King Solomon offered as a sacrifice 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.

2 Chronicles 20:27-28

27Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat at their head, returning to Jerusalem with joy, ofor the Lord had made them rejoice over their enemies. 28They came to Jerusalem with harps and lyres and trumpets, to the house of the Lord.

2 Chronicles 29:28-29

28The whole assembly worshiped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded. All this continued until the burnt offering was finished. 29When the offering was finished, pthe king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped.
