2 Samuel 7:12-13

12 ^aWhen your days are fulfilled and ^byou lie down with your fathers, ^cI will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 ^dHe shall build a house for my name, and ^eI will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

2 Samuel 7:29

29 Now therefore may it please you to bless the house of your servant, so that it may continue forever before you. For you, O Lord God, have spoken, ^fand with your blessing shall the house of your servant be blessed forever.”

Psalms 72:8-20

8 May he have dominion from ^gsea to sea,
and from ^hthe River ^{▼▼That is, the Euphrates} to the ^jends of the earth!
9 May desert tribes ^kbow down before him,
and his enemies ^llick the dust!
10 May the kings of ^mTarshish and of ⁿthe coastlands
render him ^otribute;
may the kings of ^pSheba and ^qSeba
bring gifts!
11 May all kings ^rfall down before him,
all nations serve him!
12 For he delivers ^sthe needy when he calls,
the poor and him who has no helper.
13 He has pity on the weak and the needy,
and saves the lives of the needy.
14 From oppression and violence he redeems their life,
and ^tprecious is their blood in his sight.
15 Long may he live;
may ^ugold of Sheba be given to him!
May prayer be made ^vfor him continually,
and blessings invoked for him all the day!
16 May there be abundance of grain in the land;
on the tops of the mountains may it wave;
may its fruit be like Lebanon;

his fame continue as long as the sun!
