2 Samuel 7:12-16

12 aWhen your days are fulfilled and byou lie down with your fathers, cI will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 dHe shall build a house for my name, and eI will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 14 fI will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son. When he commits iniquity, gI will discipline him with the rod of men, with the stripes of the sons of men, 15 hbut my steadfast love will not depart from him, ias I took it from Saul, whom I put away from before you. 16 jAnd your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before me.

2 Samuel 7:25-29

25And now, O Lord God, confirm forever the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and concerning his house, and do as you have spoken. 26And your name will be magnified forever, saying, ‘The Lord of hosts is God over Israel,’ and the house of your servant David will be established before you. 27For you, O Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, have made this revelation to your servant, saying, ‘I will build you a house.’ Therefore your servant has found courage to pray this prayer to you. 28And now, O Lord God, you are God, and myour words are true, and you have promised this good thing to your servant. 29Now therefore may it please you to bless the house of your servant, so that it may continue forever before you. For you, O Lord God, have spoken, nand with your blessing shall the house of your servant be blessed forever.”

1 Chronicles 17:11-14

11When your days are fulfilled to walk with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom. 12He shall build a house for me, and I will establish his throne forever. 13 oI will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son. I will not take my steadfast love from him, pas I took it from him who was before you, 14but I will confirm him in my house and in my kingdom forever, and his throne shall be established forever.’”

1 Chronicles 17:23-27

23And now, O Lord, let the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and concerning his house be established forever, and do as you have spoken, 24and your name will be established and magnified forever, saying, ‘The Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, is Israel’s God,’ and the house of your servant David will be established before you. 25For you, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build a house for him. Therefore your servant has found courage to pray before you. 26And now, O Lord, you are God, and you have promised this good thing to your servant. 27Now you have been pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you, for it is you, O Lord, who have blessed, and it is blessed forever.”

1 Chronicles 28:6-7

6He said to me, ‘It is qSolomon your son who shall build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father. 7I will establish his kingdom rforever sif he continues strong in keeping my commandments and my rules, as he is today.’

Psalms 89:35-37

35Once for all I have sworn tby my holiness;
