2 Samuel 7:6
6I have not lived in a house asince the day I brought up the people of Israel from Egypt to this day, but I have been moving about bin a tent for my dwelling.1 Kings 8:27
27“But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, cheaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built!2 Chronicles 2:6

The Humble and Contrite in Spirit
1 gThus says the Lord:h“Heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool;
what is the house that you would build for me,
and what is the place of my rest?

and so all these things came to be,
declares the Lord.
jBut this is the one to whom I will look:
he who is humble and contrite in spirit
and trembles at my word.
Acts 7:44-50
