15So David reigned over all Israel. And David administered justice and equity to all his people.

1 Kings 9:4

4And as for you, if you will awalk before me, bas David your father walked, with integrity of heart and uprightness, doing according to all that I have commanded you, and keeping my statutes and my rules,

5because cDavid did what was right in the eyes of the Lord and did not turn aside from anything that he commanded him all the days of his life, dexcept in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.

I Will Walk with Integrity

A Psalm of David.

1 I will sing of gsteadfast love and justice;
to you, O Lord, I will make music.
2I will hponder the way ithat is blameless.
Oh when will you jcome to me?
I will kwalk with lintegrity of heart
within my house;
3I will not set before my eyes
anything mthat is worthless.
I hate the work of those who nfall away;
it shall not cling to me.
4 oA perverse heart shall be far from me;
I will pknow nothing of evil.
5 Whoever slanders his neighbor qsecretly
I will rdestroy.
Whoever has a shaughty look and an tarrogant heart
I will not endure.
6 I will look with favor on the faithful in the land,
that they may dwell with me;
he who walks in uthe way that is blameless
shall minister to me.
7 No one who vpractices deceit
shall dwell in my house;
no one who utters lies
shall wcontinue before my eyes.
8 xMorning by morning I will destroy
all the wicked in the land,
ycutting off all zthe evildoers
from aathe city of the Lord.

Isaiah 11:2-4

2And abthe Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him,
