2 Thessalonians 2:8-12

8And then athe lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus bwill kill with cthe breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by dthe appearance of his coming. 9The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan ewith all power and false signs and wonders, 10and with all wicked deception for fthose who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11Therefore gGod sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe hwhat is false, 12in order that all may be condemned iwho did not believe the truth but jhad pleasure in unrighteousness.

2 Timothy 2:16-18

16But kavoid lirreverent babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness, 17and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are mHymenaeus and Philetus, 18who have swerved from the truth, nsaying that the resurrection has already happened. They are upsetting the faith of some.

2 Timothy 3:8

8Just as oJannes and Jambres popposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, qmen corrupted in mind and rdisqualified regarding the faith.

2 Timothy 4:3-4

3 sFor the time is coming when people will not endure tsound
Or healthy
teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,
4and vwill turn away from listening to the truth and wwander off into myths.

Titus 1:10-11

10For there are many who are insubordinate, xempty talkers and deceivers, especially those of ythe circumcision party.
Or  especially those of the circumcision
11They must be silenced, since aathey are upsetting whole families by teaching abfor shameful gain what they ought not to teach.

Hebrews 12:15-16

15See to it that no one acfails to obtain the grace of God; that no adroot of bitternesssprings up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled; 16that no one is aesexually immoral or unholy like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal.
