2 Timothy 3:15-17

15and how afrom childhood you have been acquainted with bthe sacred writings, cwhich are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 dAll Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17that ethe man of God
That is, a messenger of God (the phrase echoes a common Old Testament expression)
may be complete, gequipped hfor every good work.

1 Peter 1:10-12

10Concerning this salvation, ithe prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be yours searched and inquired carefully, 11inquiring jwhat person or time kthe Spirit of Christ in them was indicating lwhen he predicted mthe sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories. 12 nIt was revealed to them that othey were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you pby the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, qthings into which angels long to look.

2 Peter 1:19-21

19And rwe have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention sas to a lamp shining in a dark place, until tthe day udawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, 20knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. 21For vno prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God was they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Revelation of John 1:3
