Acts 1:20-26

20For it is written in the Book of Psalms,

a“‘May his camp become desolate,
and let there be no one to dwell in it’;

b“‘Let another take his office.’
21So one of the men who have accompanied us during call the time that the Lord Jesus dwent in and out among us, 22 ebeginning from the baptism of John until the day when fhe was taken up from usone of these men must become with us ga witness to his resurrection.” 23And they put forward two, Joseph called hBarsabbas, who was also called iJustus, and jMatthias. 24And kthey prayed and said, “You, Lord, lwho know the hearts of all, show which one of these two you have chosen 25to take the place in mthis ministry and napostleship from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place.” 26And they cast lots for them, and the lot fell on Matthias, and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

1 Timothy 5:9-10

9Let a widow be enrolled if she is not less than sixty years of age, having been othe wife of one husband,
Or a woman of one man
10and having a reputation for good works: if she has brought up children, has qshown hospitality, rhas washed the feet of the saints, has scared for the afflicted, and has tdevoted herself to every good work.

1 Timothy 5:21-22

21In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of the elect angels uI charge you to keep these rules without prejudging, vdoing nothing from partiality. 22 wDo not be hasty in the xlaying on of hands, nor ytake part in the sins of others; keep yourself pure.

The Greek word anthropoi can refer to both men and women, depending on the context
acwho will be able to teach others also.

Titus 1:5-9

Qualifications for Elders

5 adThis is why I left you in Crete, so that you might put what remained into order, and aeappoint elders in every town as I directed you 6 afif anyone is above reproach, the husband of one wife,
Or a man of one woman
and his children are believers
Or  are faithful
and not open to the charge of aidebauchery or insubordination.
7For an overseer,
Or bishop; Greek episkopos
akas God’s steward, must be above reproach. He must not albe arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent amor greedy for gain,
8but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, anand disciplined. 9He must aohold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in apsound
