Acts 10:14-16

14But Peter said, “By no means, Lord; afor I have never eaten anything that is bcommon or cunclean.” 15And the voice came to him again a second time, dWhat God has made clean, do not call common.” 16This happened three times, and the thing was taken up at once to heaven.

Romans 14:15-17

15For if your brother is grieved by what you eat, eyou are no longer walking in love. fBy what you eat, do not destroy the one for whom Christ died. 16 gSo do not let what you regard as good be spoken of as evil. 17 hFor the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but iof righteousness and jpeace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 8:7-10

7However, not all possess this knowledge. But some, kthrough former association with idols, eat food as really offered to an idol, and ltheir conscience, being weak, is defiled. 8 mFood will not commend us to God. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do. 9But take care nthat this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block oto the weak. 10For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating

in an idol’s temple, will he not be encouraged,
Or fortified; Greek built up
if his conscience is weak, to eat food offered to idols?

1 Corinthians 10:18-21

18Consider rthe people of Israel:
Greek  Consider Israel according to the flesh
tare not those who eat the sacrifices participants in the altar?
19What do I imply then? That food offered to idols is anything, or that uan idol is anything? 20No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice vthey offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons. 21 wYou cannot drink the cup of the Lord and xthe cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and ythe table of demons.

1 Corinthians 10:28-31

28But if someone says to you, “This has been offered in sacrifice,” then do not eat it, for the sake of the one who informed you, and for the sake of conscience 29I do not mean zyour conscience, but his. For aawhy should my liberty be determined by someone else’s conscience? 30If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of that abfor which I give thanks?

31So, whether you eat or drink, or acwhatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
