The Holy Spirit Falls on the Gentiles

44 While Peter was still saying these things, ^athe Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word. 45 And the believers from among ^bthe circumcised who had come with Peter were amazed, because ^cthe gift of the Holy Spirit ^dwas poured out even on the Gentiles. 46 For they were hearing them ^espeaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter declared,

Acts 11:15-17

15 As I began to speak, ^fthe Holy Spirit fell on them ^gjust as on us at the beginning. 16 And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ^h‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ 17 If then ⁱGod gave ^jthe same gift to them as he gave to us ^kwhen we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, ^lwho was I ^mthat I could stand in God’s way?”

Acts 19:2

2 And he said to them, ⁿ“Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said, “No, ^owe have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”
