Peter’s Vision

9The next day, as they were on their journey and approaching the city, aPeter went up bon the housetop about cthe sixth hour
That is, noon
to pray.

The Jerusalem Council

5But some believers who belonged to lthe party of the Pharisees rose up and said, m“It is necessary nto circumcise them and to order them to keep the law of Moses.”

Acts 21:20-23

20And when they heard it, they oglorified God. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed. They are all pzealous for the law, 21and they have been told about you that you teach all qthe Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, rtelling them snot to circumcise their children or twalk according to uour customs. 22What then is to be done? They will certainly hear that you have come. 23Do therefore what we tell you. We have four men vwho are under a vow;

Galatians 2:12-14

12For before certain men came from James, whe was eating with the Gentiles; but when they came he drew back and separated himself, fearing xthe circumcision party.
Or  fearing those of the circumcision
13And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy. 14But when I saw that their zconduct was not in step with aathe truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas abbefore them all, “If you, though a Jew, aclive like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”
