Acts 13:27-29

27For those who live in Jerusalem and their rulers, because athey did not recognize him nor understand bthe utterances of the prophets, which are read every Sabbath, cfulfilled them by condemning him. 28And dthough they found in him no guilt worthy of death, ethey asked Pilate to have him executed. 29And when fthey had carried out all that was written of him, gthey took him down from hthe tree and laid him in a tomb.

Acts 17:2-3

2And Paul went in, ias was his custom, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them jfrom the Scriptures, 3 kexplaining and proving that it was necessary for lthe Christ to suffer and mto rise from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ.”

Acts 26:22-23

22 nTo this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so oI stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what pthe prophets and Moses said would come to pass: 23 qthat the Christ rmust suffer and that, sby being the first tto rise from the dead, uhe would proclaim vlight both to our people and to the Gentiles.”

Acts 28:23

23When they had appointed a day for him, they came to him at his lodging in greater numbers. From morning till evening whe expounded to them, testifying to xthe kingdom of God and ytrying to convince them about Jesus zboth from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.
