1 Now at Iconium ^athey entered together into the Jewish synagogue and spoke in such a way that a great number of both Jews and Greeks believed. 2 ^bBut the ^cunbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against ^dthe brothers. ^{▼▼Or brothers and sisters} 3 So they remained for a long time, speaking boldly for ^fthe Lord, who bore witness to ^gthe word of his grace, ^hgranting signs and wonders to be done by their hands. 4 But the people of the city ⁱwere divided; ^jsome sided with the Jews and some with the apostles.

Acts 17:2-4

2 And Paul went in, ^kas was his custom, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them ^lfrom the Scriptures, 3 ^mexplaining and proving that it was necessary for ⁿthe Christ to suffer and ^oto rise from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ.” 4 And ^psome of them were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, as did ^qa great many of the devout ^rGreeks and not a few of the leading women.
