Acts 15:1-2

The Jerusalem Council

1 aBut some men came down from Judea and were teaching bthe brothers, “Unless you are ccircumcised daccording to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” 2And after Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and edebate with them, Paul and Barnabas and fsome of the others were appointed to go up to Jerusalem to gthe apostles and the elders about this question.

Acts 15:24

24Since we have heard that hsome persons have gone out from us and itroubled you

Warning Concerning Antichrists

18Children, vit is the last hour, and as you have heard that wantichrist is coming, so now xmany antichrists have come. yTherefore we know that it is the last hour. 19 zThey went out from us, but they were not of us; for aaif they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, abthat it might become plain that they all are not of us. 20But you have been acanointed by adthe Holy One, and aeyou all have knowledge.

If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then akyou too will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25And this is the promise that he made to us
