Acts 15:20-21

20but should write to them ato abstain from bthe things polluted by idols, and from csexual immorality, and from dwhat has been strangled, and from eblood. 21For from ancient generations Moses has had in every city those who proclaim him, ffor he is read every Sabbath in the synagogues.”

Acts 15:29

29 gthat you abstain from hwhat has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.”

Acts 21:25

25But as for the Gentiles who have believed, iwe have sent a letter with our judgment that they should abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled,
Some manuscripts omit  and from what has been strangled
and from sexual immorality.”

1 Corinthians 8:4-13

4Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that k“an idol has no real existence,” and that l“there is no God but one.” 5For although there may be mso-called gods in heaven or on earthas indeed there are manygodsand manylords”— 6yet nfor us there is one God, the Father, ofrom whom are all things and for whom we exist, and pone Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and qthrough whom we exist.

7However, not all possess this knowledge. But some, rthrough former association with idols, eat food as really offered to an idol, and stheir conscience, being weak, is defiled. 8 tFood will not commend us to God. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do. 9But take care uthat this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block vto the weak. 10For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating
Greek reclining at table
in an idol’s temple, will he not be encouraged,
Or fortified; Greek built up
if his conscience is weak, to eat food offered to idols?
11And so by your knowledge this weak person is ydestroyed, the brother for whom Christ died. 12Thus, sinning against your brothers
Or  brothers and sisters
and aawounding their conscience when it is weak, abyou sin against Christ.
13Therefore, acif food makes my brother stumble, I will never eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.

1 Corinthians 10:18-31

18Consider adthe people of Israel:
Greek  Consider Israel according to the flesh
afare not those who eat the sacrifices participants in the altar?
19What do I imply then? That food offered to idols is anything, or that agan idol is anything? 20No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice ahthey offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons. 21 aiYou cannot drink the cup of the Lord and ajthe cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and akthe table of demons. 22 alShall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? amAre we stronger than he?

Do All to the Glory of God

23 an“All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up. 24 aoLet no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor. 25 apEat whatever is sold in the meat market without raising any question on the ground of conscience. 26For aq“the earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof.” 27If one of the unbelievers invites you to dinner and you are disposed to go, areat whatever is set before you without raising any question on the ground of conscience. 28But if someone says to you, “This has been offered in sacrifice,” then do not eat it, for the sake of the one who informed you, and for the sake of conscience 29I do not mean asyour conscience, but his. For atwhy should my liberty be determined by someone else’s conscience? 30If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of that aufor which I give thanks?

31So, whether you eat or drink, or avwhatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Revelation of John 2:20
