18And when they came to him, he said to them:

i“You yourselves know jhow I lived among you the whole time kfrom the first day that I set foot in Asia,
19 lserving the Lord mwith all humility and with ntears and with trials that happened to me through othe plots of the Jews; 20how I pdid not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and qteaching you in public and from house to house, 21 rtestifying both to Jews and to Greeks of srepentance toward God and of tfaith in our Lord Jesus Christ. 22And now, behold, I am going to Jerusalem, constrained uby
Or bound in
the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there,
23except that wthe Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that ximprisonment and yafflictions await me. 24But zI do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only aaI may finish my course and abthe ministry acthat I received from the Lord Jesus, adto testify to aethe gospel of afthe grace of God. 25And now, behold, agI know that none of you among whom I have gone about ahproclaiming the kingdom will see my face again. 26Therefore aiI testify to you this day that ajI am innocent of the blood of all, 27for akI did not shrink from declaring to you althe whole counsel of God. 28 amPay careful attention to yourselves and to all anthe flock, in which aothe Holy Spirit has made you apoverseers, aqto care for arthe church of God,
Some manuscripts  of the Lord
which he atobtained auwith his own blood.
Or  with the blood of his Own
29I awknow that after my departure axfierce wolves will come in among you, aynot sparing the flock; 30and azfrom among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. 31Therefore babe alert, remembering that bbfor three years I did not cease night or day bcto admonish every one bdwith tears. 32And now beI commend you to God and to bfthe word of his grace, which is able to bgbuild you up and to give you bhthe inheritance among all those who are sanctified. 33 biI coveted no one’s silver or gold or apparel. 34 bjYou yourselves know that bkthese hands ministered to my necessities and blto those who were with me. 35In all things bmI have shown you that bnby working hard in this way we must bohelp the weak and bpremember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed bqto give than to receive.’
